Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love innovative engineering! Teaching young engineers the nuances of concept and design is an exciting part of the world of engineering.
About Me
I am a Structural Engineer with an extensive background in complex structural analysis, large infrastructure repairs, and drafting large construction documents. Drafting is my favorite part; this is where ideas hit paper, and coordination between other disciplines (Architects, Mechanical Engineers, etc.) makes magic.
Experience
I have extensive experience with structural design and coordination between several disciplines. I have several years of experience columbia/washington">tutoring within engineering, teaching younger engineers how to use design codes, analysis software and drafting programs (AutoCAD and Revit). I even began columbia/washington">tutoring in college, where I would teach younger classes engineering concepts, grade work, and help with test prep.
Approach
I enjoy teaching engineering concepts because most time it deepens my understanding of engineering. I learn something new when I am asked difficult questions, and I find satisfaction in my students' success.
Request Me NowFE Tutoring
I have successfully passed the FE exam and have firsthand experience with the breadth and depth of knowledge it requires. In addition to my professional experience as a structural engineer, I have tutored and proctored several college-level engineering exams, giving me a strong foundation in both the technical content and effective test-taking strategies. I’m currently mentoring a younger engineer in preparation for the FE, providing personalized guidance on problem-solving, study planning, and concept review. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain confidence, reinforce core engineering principles, and approach the FE exam with a clear, strategic mindset.
AutoCAD Tutoring
I have over 8 years of experience using AutoCAD in a professional engineering setting. As a structural engineer, I use AutoCAD daily to produce precise technical drawings for real-world construction and renovation projects, including structural plans, details, and schematics. I also train new engineers on the fundamentals and advanced features of AutoCAD, emphasizing best practices in drafting, efficiency, and producing deliverables that meet industry standards.
Revit Tutoring
I have been using Revit for over 4 years to develop 3D models, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and produce detailed construction documents that reflect real-world design and engineering constraints. In my role as a structural engineer, I provide hands-on training to new engineers, helping them understand not just how to use Revit, but how to apply structural modeling best practices, manage BIM workflows, and create high-quality, coordinated project documentation.
