Fun Facts

I love playing music. I've had the same bass guitar for almost 12 years and play nearly every day. I also have over 500 volumes of comics at home. Batman is my favorite hero, but I mainly read indie science fiction and horror.

About Me

I used to be a Controls Engineer, working in automation. After being in the field for a while, I wanted to do something else, based around helping people. Last school year, I started substitute teaching in middle and high school.

Experience

Through schooling, I worked as a student tutor, teaching people the basics of electrical theory, as well as the fundamentals of wiring industrial settings. I also taught PLC programming while completing my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.

Approach

My mother is an elementary school teacher, so I've always appreciated what the public schooling system did for me. Acting as a one-on-one tutor for my classmates throughout high school and higher education showed me that I could make a difference.
