About Me
Hi, I’m Aman Punjabi, a first-year student at the connecticut">University of Connecticut studying Management and Engineering for Manufacturing (MEM). I originally started in Electrical Engineering but decided to switch to MEM because I enjoy the mix of technical problem-solving and business strategy. I’m especially interested in how engineering can improve manufacturing, operations, and innovation.
I’ve worked in customer service and retail at places like Sbarro, Old Navy, and Cinemark, where I learned a lot about communication, teamwork, and staying organized. I also got to shadow professionals at Eversource Energy, where I saw how contract management and project planning play a role in engineering projects, which really sparked my interest in that side of the field.
I’m expecting to graduate in 2028 and am excited to keep learning more about engineering, business, and how they come together. I am extremely glad and excited to teach and become a tutor here at Frog Tutoring. I appreciate the opportunity given to me and I will take it to its fullest.
Experience
In high school, I was on the student tech help desk, involved in Key Club, and part of the swim and track teams. I also enjoyed volunteering with groups like the Knights of Columbus and the Milford Oyster Festival, which taught me the value of giving back to the community. I have had a lot of experience with community service, having over 200+ hours in total.
Approach
I struggled a lot in elementary school due to ADHD. I had trouble staying seated and focusing. Over time, I’ve learned how to manage it and develop effective habits. Because of this, I approach tutoring with patience and empathy. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I aim to support students in a way that works best for them.
