Fun Facts
I love anything involved with film and television! I took 7 AP classes in high school, am the middle child of three, and love dogs. I also have been doing martial arts for about thirteen years, and I enjoy learning about how to make websites using computer programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also enjoy staying indoors to study or read for my classes.
About Me
I am a sophomore at California State University, Northridge. I have been on the dean's list for both semesters I have completed so far. After I graduate and complete internships, I hope to be able to contribute to film. I graduated from my school with a 4.0+ weighted GPA. I have also completed two science/california/granada-hill">computer science internships as well as a marketing internship.
Experience
I currently work as an assistant instructor at Pak's Karate Family and Martial Arts Center and have been doing so for almost three years. I help kids learn discipline, respect, confidence, techniques, and how to improve techniques. I work with people of all ages, some as young as four and as old as forty.
Approach
During school, I never really struggled to learn, but I had many friends and classmates who did. I helped them through their struggles, showing them different approaches to solve a problem rather than belittling them for not understanding the answer. This is essentially how I teach my students at my martial arts center as well. I guide them to the answer rather than showing it all. I also try to uplift them and show them that it's okay to struggle, since the struggle will pay off in the end.

Computer Science Tutoring
I have taken AP Computer Science as well as completed three internships relating to the field with America On Tech. I have assisted my classmates and received a three on the official AP Test. I also will minor in computer science in my second semester of my sophomore year in college.

I have taken AP English Literature and passed with a 4. I have taken AP English Language and padsed with a three. I have also taken screenwriting classes in my college classes. Like my other classes, I helped my classmates understand different literary devices and how to write a strong thesis.

Math Tutoring
I took Algebra One in Eight grade, Geometry in Ninth grade and Algebra Two in Tenth Grade. I also took a college course called Quantitative Reasoning in Twelth Grade. I passed all classes with A's and was able to assist students who were struggling with the equations in those classes as well.
Government Tutoring
I have taken AP Government and Politics and passed the official AP exam. I have also taken another government class in college which refreshed what I originally learned.

Middle School Math Tutoring
I took three math classes in middle school, one being algebra one in eighth grade. I passed all these classes with As. I worked diligently with my peers as we assisted each other.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I have helped my brother with his homework for all of his elementary school years. I helped him do it on time and explained to him how he should try to solve the problems rather than giving him the answer straight away. I also help my cousins and other family friends.
3rd Grade Math Tutoring
I was in accelerated math for both my high school and middle school years. I assisted students at my school with their work as well as my own family and other relatives. I also took a college math class called Quantitative Reasoning during my senior year of High School. In elementary, math came quite easy for me and I was able to help others as well.

I have used Micorsoft PowerPoint since I was six years old. I have made numerous presentations for school, independently and with a group. I understand each tab and how to use different transitions and how to style it properly.

I have used Microsoft Word since I was in second grade. I have used it independently for about twelve years. I know all about formatting, saving, and styling using Microsoft Word.
