About Me

I am a senior English major at Texas Woman’s University, studying Writing & Rhetoric. I have spent my entire academic journey chasing the power of words—how they shape everyday communication, and how they can create entire worlds on paper. I would love to help you find your voice and grow in confidence, clarity, and creativity.

Experience

With over six years of experience teaching children of all ages at Gateway Church, I have developed the ability to explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways. Whether I am helping a young learner grasp the basics or guiding an older student toward deeper understanding, I bring patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching to every session.

Approach

As a child, I was fascinated by the English language, but I often struggled with math. What made it even harder was when teachers grew impatient or frustrated, which made me feel like I could not succeed. That experience shaped how I approach teaching today. I have since had the privilege of working with many young students, and I always make sure to meet them with patience, empathy, and the understanding that everyone learns differently—and that is more than okay.
