Fun Facts

I am a dog mom. I have two chihuahua mixes, Lola, 8, and Professor, 1.5. They are my favourite creatures in the world. I am very close to my family, who all live within the DFW area.

About Me

I am a former teacher with my Master's of Education Degree in Secondary Education. I taught Speech Communications, Public Speaking and Freshman English for nine years in a public high school setting, and was three times voted Teacher of the Year by the students.

Experience

As a teacher, I worked with all academic levels as well as several grade levels. I am familiar with creating modifications for students with learning differences and using different teaching methods to find what works best for each student.

Approach

My approach to learning centers on making the experience both effective and enjoyable. I believe that fun is a powerful motivator, so I incorporate creativity and curiosity into the learning process to keep students engaged. I celebrate successes—big or small—because recognizing progress builds confidence and momentum.
