About Me

I am a recent college graduate. I have just graduated from St. John's University of Queens, NY, with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Management. I was on the Dean's List for 3/4 years of my journey; I graduated Magna Cum Laude and received an award of academic excellence.

Experience

During the beginning of my junior year, I stumbled upon a tutoring position and took it and immediately fell in love with the role. The job is extremely rewarding and is a perfect fit for my personality.

Approach

As a child, I used to struggle with academics myself. As I entered my high school years, I started to excel because of one key factor: my confidence. I grew academically because I had educators who inspired my confidence and helped me to persevere in my education. I went from averaging around 70-80 (out of a hundred) a semester to graduating high school with a 3.9 GPA. It is extremely rewarding to reverse these roles and put me in the educator's position.
