Fun Facts
I love to support and help people. I am a huge reader, I love any book genre. I am the oldest of seven kids and now an aunt to a crazy baby. I am pursuing a master's degree in social work at Walden University. I love football, and my team is the Los Angeles Chargers. I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
About Me
I am a virtual tutor in math and reading. When I am not tutoring, I am pursuing my master's degree and running my own dog walking and babysitting services. I had the fantastic opportunity to work for Reading Partners through a federal work study program while attending Purdue University Global.
Experience
I had the fantastic opportunity to work for Reading Partners through a federal work study program while attending Purdue University Global. I tutored two outstanding students, who bumped up two levels in reading. I also had a fantastic experience working with the tutoring company, EQPD. I have tutored several excellent students in both Delta Math and Targeted Reading.
Approach
As a child, I struggled in math. I had teachers who were not supportive. I had a tutor who helped me, and she explained it to me in a way that clicked. She helped me understand by making it fun. I have taken her approach and have successfully helped children, and it has fostered a long-lasting relationship.
