About Me

I have been a registered Radiologic Technologist for 20 years. For the past 6 years, I have taught as an Adjunct Faculty member at Harrisburg Area Community College in Lancaster, PA. Growing up, I wanted to teach elementary students. While I went another route after high school, I found myself ending up in a teaching capacity.

Experience

Aside from my 20 years of experience as an RT, I teach both in the lab and clinical settings, as well as mentor future RTs.
Additionally, I still work (as needed) in the field, keeping my radiology skills fresh.

Approach

Though I was considered "smart" during every level of schooling, I had to work hard for it and still do when learning new things. I need repetition and review to "lock in" concepts. While working with students, I keep this in mind, knowing there are many approaches and ways to learn. Every student is not the same.
