About Me

I am a government attorney in Illinois looking to help aspiring lawyers pass the bar exam and become my colleagues. I graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2016 and have been licensed and practising law since 2016. I have worked in private practice, state government, legal aid, and federal government. I specialise in civil litigation, specifically constitutional law and civil rights litigation, so I am well-versed in constitutional law, civil procedure, and legal writing.

Experience

I have taken the bar exam and passed after one attempt. I have helped other students struggling with essay writing during the bar exam preparation.

Approach

I just recently learned that I have ADHD, which means I took the bar exam without accommodations. I am especially interested in helping students with ADHD and other neurodivergences ensure success on the bar exam. Oftentimes, the issue with preparation is not that students don’t know the material to pass the bar exam; instead, they are struggling with critical skills like time management, close reading, and organisation.
