Fun Facts

I am the oldest of five with a 14 and 15-year age gap between me and my younger sisters. I played the flute for eight years. I played volleyball for five years and won my eighth-grade championship. I took Spanish for 5 years. I love to watch TV shows from different countries, and my favorite PBS Kids TV shows are WordGirl and Cyberchase.

About Me

I am a junior at Towson University, majoring in public health. I aim to get into the plus one program and graduate with my Master's in Health Science. With these degrees, I hope to achieve my goal of becoming an epidemiologist and helping fight back against diseases.

Experience

Due to having worked at a monastery school in the past and volunteering to work with kids at church, I have experience helping them with their needs and making them feel understood and cared for.

Approach

As a child, I felt pressured because I came to understand things a lot slower than other kids. My parents got me a tutor, and she made sure I never felt embarrassed for being slower to understand things, and that everyone learns differently, and that's completely fine. Due to this, when tutoring, I want to make sure that they know that there is nothing wrong with needing more time to understand things and that needing more time is just an extra step towards brilliancy.
