I love to play card games, like Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokémon. I haven't had a lot of time to indulge in these hobbies recently, because I am currently in nursing school. However, I still collect them from time to time.

About Me

I am a nursing student. I initially wanted to go into medicine. However, the long road and uncertainty of achieving this goal were what led me to decide to go into nursing. For example, to become a practising physician, you have to pass multiple exams tend then apply for a residency program, which you might not get into. Due to the high risk associated with this path, I decided to pursue my dream of working in healthcare through nursing.

Experience

In my previous and current employments, I have had the opportunity to help children with their studies daily. This help often revolved around their homework in multiple subjects. I am also helping children with autism learn socially acceptable behaviour while teaching them alternatives to their maladaptive behaviours. Overall, I have a lot of experience working with and teaching children across multiple populations.

Approach

My approach to solving any issue is not only to solve the current problem, but also to address the underlying issue so that the issue is easier to address in the future. I would like to give a personal example. You wouldn't guess, but I wasn't born in the United States. I was born in India. When I immigrated here, I knew a few words of English.
