About Me

Recent graduate from UNT Health Science Center with a master's in medical science with a cumulative GPA of 4.0. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in chemistry. While at UTA, I was on the dean's list for 2 consecutive years.

Experience

I have worked as a teaching assistant for multiple introductory biology laboratories at UTA. Previous to this experience, I began tutoring and continue to tutor friends and family on course topics they may struggle with. I make sure to dedicate my time and support to supplement their understanding of the course material.

Approach

I understand that everyone has a different learning method; therefore, my approach is to tailor my tutoring sessions to what best suits your learning style and what is most appropriate for the course topic. During my tutoring sessions, I am supportive and patient as I acknowledge that every student learns at a different pace. I aim to help every student feel better about the material post-session than they did prior to our session.
