About Me
Hi! I’m a passionate and patient tutor with a strong academic background in law and criminal justice. I hold a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Norfolk, Virginia.
My education has equipped me with sharp analytical skills, strong writing ability, and a deep understanding of complex legal and social concepts—all of which I bring to every tutoring session. Whether you’re studying for high school classes, college courses, or preparing for exams like the LSAT, I’m here to help break things down in a way that makes sense.
I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident, encouraged, and capable. If you’re looking for a tutor who truly cares about your success, let’s work together!
Experience
I’m a law school graduate with a J.D. from West Virginia University and a background in criminal justice from Old Dominion University. Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to dive into the legal field through hands-on roles—from being in court every day to helping clients navigate immigration forms and asylum petitions as a paralegal. I’ve spent time in courtrooms, drafted legal documents, and worked closely with attorneys, police officers, and clients to build strong, effective cases.
Approach
School didn’t always come easily for me—but that’s exactly what taught me how to learn. I wasn’t the kind of student who just “got it” right away. I had to work for it. Over time, I developed a sense of discipline, built solid study habits, and learned how to stay consistent even when things felt overwhelming. That experience shaped who I am today. I know what it’s like to struggle with a subject, and I also know how powerful it feels to finally understand it.
