I love music and played the drums in bands in my teenage years. A goal of mine is to become more experienced on the piano.

I am a graduate student at Portland State University, currently near graduation. I have experience in applied physics research and teaching.
Experience
I enjoy teaching experimental and theoretical physics. I also grade for other instructors in their physics courses. One-on-one sessions offered by Frog Tutoring help facilitate a deeper conceptual learning of the topic for students.
Approach
I find that having the applicability of a subject to everyday concepts helps students grasp fundamental concepts. Pointing them in a direction and letting them connect the ideas is also immensely helpful.
