Before I was a teacher, I was a zookeeper. I have a passion for animals and have worked with everything from primates to zebras and even kangaroos! I am also a huge reader and have a huge collection of fantasy novels waiting to be enjoyed!

About Me

I received my BS in Agriculture Education from the University of Idaho. I have a passion for English, the natural sciences, mathematics, and helping students succeed in whatever they set out to do!

Experience

Before taking time off to raise my young child, I worked as an Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor in a public school setting. I have received training in nuclear mathematics, career and technical skills, as well as STEAM concepts. I have helped students of all skill levels and backgrounds with writing in science, math, English, and even a bit of history!

Approach

I believe that all students bring a unique set of skills, learning preferences, and interests to the table. It is my goal to combine those things to reach students’ goals and make learning something they can look forward to!
