I was born in Peru! Also, some of my favourite hobbies include painting, drawing and baking, which also happen to be the hobbies of a lot of chemists I know!

About Me

I recently graduated with my bachelor’s in biochemistry at the University of Utah. I am interested in medicinal research, drug development and discovery. I deferred graduate school for one year, but in 2026, I will be joining the Bioscience PhD program at the University of Utah!

Experience

As an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry 1 and College Algebra. I was also involved in a mentor program for new chemistry students, so I have a good understanding of teaching and guiding.

Approach

As I was doing my undergraduate degree, I struggled with Organic Chemistry 1 a little bit at the beginning. It was thanks to the help from the teaching assistants that I was able to get an A in the class. I think that support and guidance make the difference when studying a hard subject.
