I have worked as a teaching aid and in the education sector for the last 10 years, and somehow am almost always able to apply what is being addressed to baseball as an interest for myself and linking the help people need with the interests they have.

About Me

Graduated from Evergreen State College in 2025. I am a long-time student. I grew up on the campus of a boarding college prep high school in California, and I have an intricate knowledge of how to work with students and their teachers to help them work together (or help the student work with their teacher) to address the strongest needs for the student. I am currently working on my teaching certificate to teach high school history and am possibly getting a degree to teach at a college in the future.

Experience

I have worked in multiple classrooms, and my full-time job currently is a substitute paraeducator (teaching aid) for my local school district. I am very experienced in 1:1 and small group work to complement the growth of knowledge within the subject being presented by the student's teacher. I have also worked in the theatre scene a lot and am very willing to help with auditions or skills. I have also played the violin for 16 years and am versed in helping beginners.

Approach

As a kid, I was expected to know what to do, constantly being the child of a teacher and because of that, I learned incorrectly the methods of schooling. Fixing the problems I created for myself took years, and that knowledge should be addressed to the kids that I am working with. The easy path is easy for a reason. Seeing why the hard path will help is what I am bringing to the table.
