One thing people will learn from spending extracurricular time around me is that I love the Lord Jesus and am passionate about Bible study and prayer.

About Me

I am a senior currently on Hiatus from the washington">University of Washington and pursuing a degree in Biology: Physiology. I'm planning to return to my studies within a year and am likely to go on to pursue a graduate degree in the field of science and medicine.

Experience

I served as a volunteer tutor at the Youth Tutoring Program for a few years before being asked to come on as the Centre Supervisor, where I oversaw roughly thirty volunteer tutors and forty students between K-12. I have ample experience tutoring students in K-12 reading, writing, math, and science.

Approach

I emphasise student comprehension at every step of the problem-solving process and am diligent to ensure that my students are equipped with the skills they need to be able to complete assignments even when they are on their own, and especially in the classroom setting. I want to make sure that I'm providing guidance that will empower my students to be able to work more and more independently and even to become tutors who will do the same for their future peers.
