Fun Facts

I enjoy sewing and cooking, and I am enthusiastic about any water sport. I swam competitively, played water polo, coached and taught swim lessons, and I'm a certified scuba diver. However, even though I live in California, I've never surfed.

About Me

I'm a hospital clerk who works night shift. I've graduated from Fresno City College with an associate's degree. I've tutored for many years. Both adults and children. General mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and test preparation.

Experience

I've been a private tutor for many years. I started as a high school tutor with the Upward Bound program at Fresno City College. I've tutored young children, Middle School and high school students, as well as college students. I have been privately tutoring for more than 15 years.

Approach

I believe every child learns differently. My job as a tutor is to help them find the ways they learn, so they can succeed in school in mathematics and other subjects. I also believe learning can be fun, and I try to make math relevant to things the student enjoys doing.
