Fun Facts

I was a military brat and born and raised in Germany! I've lived in the south (Louisiana, now Texas) for about 9 years now and have fully embraced the cowboy boots and "y'all". In high school, I did drill team, and I ADORE dance! I've also played piano since 1st grade.

About Me

I am a first-year Finance student at Texas Christian University, but I am on the fast track to graduate in 3 years! Through high school, I was a straight-A student participating in the National Honour Society, an officer on the drill team, and the ASL Honour Society.

Experience

This past summer, I was blessed to tutor my first student for 7th and 8th-grade math, and have recently expanded to aiding in multiple subjects. Additionally, I often provide help for my peers in understanding and applying concepts in their learning.

Approach

While I love learning, I struggled with burnout in middle school. I was supported by my teachers in learning to allow myself to make mistakes and not be perfect in my learning. I began to learn how to study, utilise testing techniques, and balance my schoolwork with extracurriculars.
