I have learned not to assume any prior knowledge. I take the time to ensure that my students are competent with the basic skills necessary to fully investigate the concepts. I enjoy scaffolding my lessons to address any deficiencies. I really enjoy challenging the students to sharpen their problem-solving skills. Patience, demonstration, repetition, and practice are the necessary components of success for both the teacher and student.
