I collect little notebooks because I love writing things down. I can never turn down ice cream, no matter the season. I almost failed PE in Middle School because I wanted to read books instead of participating in sports.

About Me

Hi there! My name is Zenzi, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I recently completed a Paralegal Studies program and plan to attend law school in the future. I’m also currently working on becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which is giving me valuable training in supporting children with patience, structure, and encouragement.

I understand that every student learns differently, so my tutoring style is adaptable, patient, and supportive. Whether it’s mastering tough math concepts, improving reading and writing, or building strong study habits, I focus on breaking down complex material into clear, simple steps that make learning less overwhelming and more enjoyable.

Outside of academics, I’m originally from Philadelphia (ask me about the best cheesesteaks!), and I love exploring new places, problem-solving, and cheering on students as they grow.

Experience

For more than 2 years, I have been volunteering with Reading Partners remotely to help improve the literacy skills of Elementary School students.

Approach

As a child, I struggled to focus in school. I always wanted to do something else, such as read a book or write stories. It wasn't until I got to middle school and had the best math teacher, who challenged and encouraged me all at once. From then on, I prioritized school a lot more and found out about the many benefits of studying.
