Fun Facts
I LOVE agriculture and teaching! Science is my jam, and I enjoy watching students come to life when they learn something new!
About Me
I am a sustainable food and bioenergy major with an emphasis in crop production at Montana State University- Bozeman. I received two associate's degrees: one in Math and Sciences and another in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Sacramento City College. I spent 4 years in the military before going to school, and learned tons during my time in service.
Experience
I found a love for agriculture in 2021 when I had the opportunity to work with walnut and almond farmers, doing certain data analysis on their crops. After that job, I worked for Mars Wrigley before moving to Montana. There, I was able to run experiments, help graduate students with their projects, and learn everything about where chocolate comes from.
Approach
I absolutely dreaded going to school growing up; I struggled in every subject. I tried college out in 2016-2017 but realized it wasn’t for me. I enlisted in the Marines and, after leaving, was inspired to go back to school with education fully paid for. College is amazing! I get to learn something more interesting each day.
