History Tutoring

When I used to be a special education paraprofessional I would often help students with history. I would help the student with looking up information and looking up some vocab. I would also help students to understand the contents itself.

AP English Tutoring

I would help students on an online platform that I am currently on with understanding the information and sometimes explaining it in a different way.

Arts Tutoring

Art has always been a hobby of mine. I have always enjoyed drawing and using colored pencils along with other mediums for a hobby as well.

Music Theory Tutoring

I have been into music since I was ten years old. Although I have never done anything professionally, I was still able to work as a teacher aide back in high school and would help under freshmen at that time.

ESL Tutoring

I have been an ESL tutor for the last three years. I currently have a TELF certification and have been able to help many students in the last three years.

SAT English Tutoring

During my time as a special education paraprofessional, I was able to help students with English exams. I was able to help with reading concepts and testing strategies.

Homework Coach Tutoring

When I used to work as a special education paraprofessional, I would often help students with homework in special education classes. I would often give words of encouragement and would help with time management.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Back when I was a special education paraprofessional, I would often help students with reading comprehension. It would be in study skills classes and I would try to help them with understanding.

Study Skills Tutoring

Another time as a special education paraprofessional was helping students with study skills. It would often be my job that I would help students with homework or any work that they were behind on.

Reading Tutoring

When I sub as a special education teacher, I would often have small groups of kids. I would often read material to them or read tests or exams as well.

SAT Reading Tutoring

For SAT reading, I would often teach high school students in special ed on how they could use different strategies of reading and figuring out the contents of the material as well.

Voice (Music) Tutoring

My last year of highschool, I was a teacher aide to a freshmen class of girls in a choir class. I would often take small groups of students and assist them with some warm-up exercises.

Basic Computer Skills Tutoring

During my time at college, I would often help older students going back to college with basic computer skills. I would help them to log in and how to log in/off.

English Tutoring

I was able to achieve high grades in this area with grades as high as an 88 percent and higher. I also did volunteer tutoring back in college as well.

Writing Tutoring

I was also helped to help with writing back in college and did volunteer work with this as well. I was also able to get a lot of high grades. I could help those with writing when it came to any subject. It was anything from Early Childhood, History, and any subject that needed writing.
