My icebreaker for anyone I meet is that I grew up in a monastery. I can also differentiate between the rooms of my house based on smell.

About Me

I'm currently getting my Bachelor's degree from arts">California College of the Arts in Writing and Literature, but I also love to paint on the side. I'm still figuring out what I want to do after my degree, but I want to embrace academia fully.

Experience

I can't say no to anyone who needs help, so I've always been an "emergency" tutor for all my peers through school and have had experience working with people from different walks of life. I really enjoyed college counselling, though, definitely my most rewarding experience.

Approach

I've never struggled in school, but when I did, I found myself always afraid of my teachers. I want to foster a better understanding of my students and make them feel safe in the environment where they are supposed to receive help, rather than being shamed for it.
