One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love traveling and exploring new cultures. I enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures, and this past summer I covered over 100 miles of trails. I’m also a big fan of photography and like capturing nature and city life through my lens. In my downtime, you’ll often find me trying out new foods or planning my next trip. Recently, I’ve also been working on a personal project to build an AI-powered stock market analysis tool.

About Me

I am a senior at DePauw University, double-majoring in science/indiana/indianapolis">Computer Science and Mathematics, and I’ve been honored to make the Dean’s List for three years in a row. Over the past few years, I’ve completed several software engineering internships, with my most recent experience at Amazon, where I worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern. These opportunities have strengthened both my technical skills and my ability to explain complex concepts clearly, which I enjoy bringing into tutoring.

Experience

I began tutoring Math in high school, helping students strengthen problem-solving skills and prepare for exams. At DePauw University (2023–present), I have been teaching Data Structures and guiding peers through projects in Java and Python, as well as web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also integrate AI tools into my lessons to make learning more interactive and relatable. These experiences have enabled me to explain complex concepts in clear and approachable ways.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is centred on patience, encouragement, and breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. I like to connect new concepts to real-world examples so that students can see why the material is relevant. Whether it’s reviewing homework, preparing for a test, or building long-term study habits, I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style. My goal is always to help students gain not just better grades but also more confidence in their own abilities.
