I love being outside and connected to nature, but I'm equally as excited to stay at home and play games - video, board and card alike. I am also a huge college football fan!

About Me

Hello - I've travelled extensively, studied abroad twice, and moved from Texas to Michigan for school, which helped me discover my passion for teaching. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology from Texas Tech and a Master of Science in Biology from Michigan State. Currently, I work as an environmental consultant in an engineering firm.

Experience

My diverse career and educational path have given me experience in teaching at all levels. I hold a Level III Tutoring Certification issued by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). I taught several different biology courses as a graduate student and provided one-on-one tutoring to undergraduates

Approach

As a student myself, I struggled with math and found school to be difficult, and I lacked motivation. I will do my best to encourage students, and we will work as a team to succeed in their class.
