I have three kiddos. I love watching them do their thing! My oldest is an amazing musician, my middle son is a talented actor, and my daughter is a ferocious soccer player.

About Me

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design in 1998. After college, I worked for an Architectural Design Firm. Our focus was on 3D models and renderings. I have also spent the last five years tutoring SketchUp and design-related subjects. I really enjoy watching students bring their ideas to life.

Experience

With over 20 years in graphic design and 3D modeling, I specialize in transforming architectural concepts into photorealistic renderings and tangible models. My experience ranges from large-scale urban site plans to residential marketing materials, combining technical expertise in SketchUp with creative artistry on Cintiq. In addition to my design work, I have tutored hundreds of students in SketchUp, Interior Design, and Graphic Design—sharing industry knowledge and helping the next generation.

My teaching approach is hands-on and project-based, guiding students through real-world design challenges while reinforcing technical fundamentals. I emphasize creativity, problem-solving, and practical application, ensuring that each student not only learns the tools but also how to think like a designer
