One fun fact about me is that I like to solve complex organic synthesis experiments when I am bored.

About Me

I graduated from CUNY Hunter College with a bachelor's in biochemistry and decided to pursue graduate school, where I do research in organic synthesis of new materials designed for battery applications. My interdisciplinary training in chemistry, physics and mathematics prepares me for integrating these fields into new and exciting products as well as making connections between those fields so that students have a better understanding of science in general.

Experience

I teach chemistry (both lab and lecture) to a group of college students, where I am able to manage 25 experiments going on at the same time, all while maintaining the highest level of safety and understanding when it comes to performing experiments.

Approach

I believe in giving students second chances, so if I see someone struggling, I will change my teaching methods to suit the students' needs so that it creates an inclusive environment for everybody.
