I’ve always been fascinated by how babies’ and toddlers’ brains grow — watching them make new connections is my favorite part of teaching!

I love finding creative ways to make learning fun, from sensory play to music and hands-on activities.

My biggest inspirations are my mom, dad, and grandmother, who taught me the value of love, patience, and community.

I enjoy continuing education — I’m always taking classes on child development and special needs support to better serve families.

Hi! I’m Whitney, an experienced early childhood educator and the owner of Lorene’s Learning Loft LLC. I’m passionate about helping children grow, learn, and reach their full potential in a nurturing, home-like environment. With years of experience supporting infants through preschoolers, I specialise in early learning, developmental milestones, and individualised teaching strategies.

I believe every child learns in their own unique way, and my goal is to create learning experiences that are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to their needs. I also collaborate closely with families to support developmental goals, language growth, and social-emotional skills.

Whether your child needs extra help mastering foundational skills, staying on track with developmental milestones, or building confidence in learning, I’m here to guide them every step of the way!

Approach

My approach to learning is rooted in nurture, observation, and individualization. I believe every child learns best when they feel safe, loved, and understood. I take time to observe each child’s temperament, interests, and developmental stage, then tailor lessons to meet their unique needs.

I focus on hands-on, play-based learning, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence. Through songs, stories, sensory play, and real-world experiences, children explore at their own pace.
