One thing you will learn about me is that my two sons love racing, and they drive a race car. Every Saturday, I am at a race track with them.

About Me

I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Studies. I have worked within the public school setting for 15 years. That includes education/tennessee/nashville">special education students and regular education students
As much as I loved teaching, it was time for me to move on. I needed more time with my family and for myself. I still wanted to teach, but in a different way. That is why I signed up for tutoring. I still allow myself to teach and help students. But also give me more time with my family.

Approach

As a student myself, I always struggled with comprehension in reading and math. But I was blessed with teachers who cared and worked with me. They worked on helping me to build confidence in myself and helped me to learned better ways of learning.
My youngest son has the same problem, and when he started struggling. I was able to teach him the same things.
