I have travelled to 138 countries and will add 139 on an upcoming student educational trip I am leading next year.

About Me

I am an Anthropologist currently working with high school students while I do research and create art. I travel as much as I can and have a parallel career in humanitarian aid work.

Experience

A thirty-year classroom veteran in all grades 6-12, plus adults. I also have experience working with younger kids as a reading coach and Spanish teacher. Advanced placement and International Baccalaureate certified.

Approach

I prefer a personal approach so the student is not working with a stranger. I also understand what it is to struggle with language firsthand. Patience and meeting the student where they are are key.
