I love to perform, write and teach music in all different forms! Having ADHD feels like my superpower when teaching and creating. I am also a car enthusiast and record collector!

About Me

Graduated from University of Northern Colorado and performed with their top jazz and classical ensembles. I also traveled to Tanzania to start a music program and it has been getting recognition throughout East Africa. I taught 4th-8th grade orchestra for 4 years and had over 150 students in my program. I’ve performed with Colorado’s premier salsa bands, wedding bands, and big bands. I am currently in between degrees and am actively prepping for auditions next Fall.

Experience

Classically disciplined violinist and trumpeter with over 20 years trained experience. Won the top chair for various South Dakota All-State Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band throughout high school.
Taught 4th-8th grade orchestra with a program of over 150 students.
Non-profit partner for Africa Music Bridge, performed with professional wedding bands, folk artists, regional symphonies, played lead trumpet with one of the county’s top jazz bands, and have a thriving private studio with some students

Approach

Getting to know each student and find ways to discover strengths and weaknesses. Finding out what each student struggles with and finding creative ways to understand content.
