Fun Facts

I love to stay active! I currently do pilates, and I enjoy going on runs as a way of getting physical activity in on a daily basis. In my free time, if I’m not working out, I love to build Legos, watch TV, and read. A fun fact about me is that I have six dogs and lots of goats, sheep, and chickens. I love to be outside and spend time with my animals.

About Me

I am a senior biology pre-dental student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a member of the UTSA Honor College, and I have made the Dean’s List every semester of my college career. I enjoy volunteering with the pre-dental society and shadowing dentists to learn more about my future profession. I am also the volunteer coordinator of the National Society of Leadership and Success, as well as a board member of a tutoring and mentorship organization named Next Step Mentoring and Gamma Tutoring.

Experience

As a board member of Next Step Mentoring and Gamma Tutoring, I have been able to go to Clark High School in San Antonio and tutor students in chemistry and algebra throughout the school year.

Approach

When I started college, I experienced courses that were difficult for me at first, and the tutoring resources that were made available to me were a huge help and I appreciated their impact on my academic journey. I have also seen the impact that tutoring has had on the students that I have tutored at Clark High School.
