Fun Facts

I am the youngest child and I am a twin.
I love listening to music. I enjoy rap, Hispanic music, Hozier, and Chinese music
I enjoy being active at any point in the day. I've been weight lifting for almost three years and I started calisthenics one year ago. I recently started boxing. Anytime I ago on vacation I need to do something physical or it's not fun!
I only like reading books that are 60+ years old, the new ones aren't as enjoyable! My favorite author is Kenzaburo Oe

About Me

I am a junior at charlotte">UNC Charlotte. I graduated with honors and an associates degree from my high school. I am currently focused on literature studies and working to get my Doctorate in English so I can be a professor. I want to teach those about the power of literature.

Approach

Literature and writing is an extremely important part in our education. As I see it, a lot of students struggle in English or complain about the subject. As someone who enjoys the subject very much, it hurts to see it have a negative audience. I hope to help students understand the joy in learning how to write a strong essay and understand its importance. I also hope these students can help me understand what it means to be a tutor.
