I enjoy helping others learn new concepts. I also love to travel and visit various foreign cultural and historical sites through my travels to places that include Mexico, Honduras, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Austria. In my spare time, I like to keep up with current events online as well as participate in online games with friends.

About Me

After graduating from high school, I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas at Austin, originally intending to earn a degree in science/texas/fort-worth">Computer Science. While I did well in science/texas/fort-worth">Computer Science courses, I decided to change my major to Psychology. I returned to my hometown of Fort Worth to attend the University of Texas at Arlington. I subsequently graduated cum laude from the UTA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics.

Experience

I have not had previous employment as a tutor. However, I have always enjoyed helping my fellow students with their understanding of various subjects in which they were having difficulty understanding the subject matter, mostly in the areas of mathematics, psychology, and sciences.

Approach

I believe the best approach to helping someone learn about a subject is on a one-on-one basis. In the sciences and mathematics, rather than teaching the person to memorize the subject matter, I believe it is important to lead them on a path to where they see how to solve a problem.
