I thoroughly enjoy every sport out there and love learning new ones, with lacrosse always being my favourite. I enjoy music and play the double bass and piano. I am currently learning Egyptian Arabic and love learning about new cultures.

About Me

I recently exited my PhD program in Chemistry at UC San Diego, deciding to change paths and pursue teaching and tutoring, which aligns more with my passions.

Experience

I privately tutored high school biology, chemistry, honors chemistry, algebra, and precalculus for over 2 years with very high satisfaction and meaningful improvement to grades from every client.
I tutored general chemistry at UCSD's OASIS tutoring program for students in the bottom 20% of the class
I taught over 3 years of organic chemistry labs, general chemistry courses, and chemistry for non-majors as a teaching assistant during my time as a PhD student.

Approach

I have been tutoring and teaching a majority of my life, since high school, and my passion lies in seeing students finally understand the material, make immense progress in a short span of time, and view the world around them in a different way with the knowledge they have newly obtained.
