For over a decade, I have been perfecting and creating crocheted items and patterns. I enjoy making amigurumis and clothes from various yarns, repurposing old fibers into a giftable piece of art!

About Me

I am a junior majoring in English and minoring in Spanish at Louisiana State University. I have maintained over a 4.0 GPA over the course of my college career. I also operated as an officer of the Crochet Club at LSU for almost two years, as the social media manager and the president

Experience

I was introduced to the Ignite Fellowship program at my school's career fair a year ago, and have been tutoring for them since. I have worked with students in 5th-grade math and 3rd/4th-grade reading. Before tutoring, I worked as a camp/afterschool counselor for three years at a summer art camp. There, I created lesson plans, supervised daily camp activities, taught children various art techniques, and introduced them to a multitude of artists.

Approach

Growing up, I was exposed to many children of various backgrounds. Volunteering with various youth-oriented programs introduced me to the importance of fostering safe spaces for kids. As a tutor, I strive to educate and empower students to become high achievers and critical thinkers.
