About Me
I am a junior majoring in political science and minoring in human rights at Binghamton University. I've been on the Dean's List all semesters and have been inducted in Phi Beta Kappa honor's society. When I graduate, I hope to attend law school in New York City.
Experience
As a member of Teach for America's ignite fellow, I had the opportunity to tutor two elementary school students (Monday-Thursday) in reading. I have also had 1 year of experience tutoring reading for students in Korea.
Approach
My approach to tutoring is structured but interactive. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved rather than passively listening, so I like to incorporate small interactive elements into sessions — such as quick challenges, timed mini-games, or collaborative problem-solving exercises. These activities keep students engaged while reinforcing core skills in a low-pressure way.
