About Me

Hi! My name is Yusuf, and I’m a science tutor with over three years of experience helping students succeed academically. I specialize in biology and life sciences, and I also work with pre-med students preparing for the MCAT.

Teaching has always been something I enjoy because I love seeing the moment when a concept finally “clicks” for a student. My goal is not just to help you memorize information, but to help you truly understand the material so you can apply it confidently on exams and in your future studies.

I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult topics.

Previously, I worked as a tutor with City Colleges of Chicago, where I helped college students improve their understanding of biology and other science subjects. Since then, I have also worked as a freelance science tutor, providing private tutoring for students in biology and MCAT preparation.
