Experience

I have had the joy of louisville">tutoring several young individuals through math-centric courses for several years. Some of my students suffered from mild learning disabilities, yet I was able to guide them to an A-letter grade for their course. I am intimately familiar with many of the areas of frustration experienced by students in math and science courses, and know various techniques and studying habits to help with understanding. Approach

First and foremost, I always bring a positive attitude. Often, the student already feels lacking in confidence, and me being negative does not help the situation. Secondly, I work with the student to address their weak areas; unless it is an overall review, I will not waste their time louisville">tutoring them on things they already know. Afterwards I will work with them on study habits, what they are currently doing, what they could do to improve, etc. Lastly, practice problems; “Practice makes Perfect."
