About Me

I graduated from boston-university">Boston University with a major in Biology and minor in Human Physiology in May of 2011. I'm finishing up my Master degree in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine and I'm currently applying to medical school. I aspire to become an Orthopedic doctor specializing in sports medicine because these are my two passions, medicine and sports.

While in college I volunteered with the boston-university">Boston University's Cultural Mentorship Program where an upper classman tutors freshmen or sophomores following the same career path or majors. I also volunteered with Alianza Latina to tutor elementary and middle school students in poor neighborhoods surrounding Boston. With Frog Tutoring, I'm eager to help students excel in their respective classes.

Every student learns differently. Some are more color oriented, some learn better with notecards, and some even learn by writing everything down (muscle memory). The best way to tutor someone is to first determine their individual learning style and build on that. It's my responsibility to not only help them grasp the content, but to teach them study skills and tricks that will help them succeed in all subjects. In addition, with positive encouragement and repetition one can help realize the student's potential that they can learn the material and succeed in school.
