Fun Facts
I am a Tango aficionado. I was first introduced to this lovely latin dance in Switzerland, were I lived for a year. Back in Mexico, I started taking lessons and became regular to milongas. I have been a couple of times in Buenos Aires to enjoy Tango!
About Me
I have a PhD in Management from Tecnologico de Monterrey. After finishing my PhD I went to Santiago, Chile as a Post Doctoral researcher. In the past, I focused my research on business-government relations. Nowadays, I am interested in understand and improve learning at different contexts–from school to workplaces.
Experience
I started chicago">tutoring students 10 years ago. At the begging it was by chance, as I started helping out my neighbor with his math homework, but It soon became a regular activity for me during my University years.
I have also taught at more formal settings such as at the University, during my Master and Doctoral studies.
I finished my PhD in 2013 and, after that, I have had the opportunity to teach a couple of courses for Master students.
Approach
I am excited to help students learn and improve their Spanish communication skills. I enjoy sharing with students about the Latin American culture.
