Fun Facts

I play the violin, and I like hiking and anything outdoors. I excelled in cricket at my high school several times and I did ballet and gymnastics till I was 16. I speak three languages and I enjoy learning new languages. I love shopping and consider it to be a legitimate hobby despite the negative speculation. I am a makeup and hair guru and vlogging (video-blogging) is one of my new favorite hobbies.

About Me

I am an International Studies major with a specialization in French. I am currently a senior attending Barry University where I am involved in clubs and organizations such as President of Model United Nations, Editor-in-Chief of The Barry Buccaneer (student newspaper), and student miami">tutor for science/florida/miami">Computer Science. I am a Resident Assistant, which also allows me to mentor and miami">tutor other students/residents on campus.

I have been a mentor and miami">tutor in my capacity as a Resident Assistant. Students have come to me for assistance in almost every area of their academic life. I not only take this opportunity for academic excellence but also to ensure overall development by teaching study skills. I believe in the method of not just giving someone a fish but teaching them how to fish. If they know how to study, they retain the information not only for an exam but for a lifetime.

As a miami">tutor, I've gained a wealth of knowledge from helping students. It is really important to meet the students where they are at (academically) and take them to the level of the class and higher. This is a very effective technique to ensure student success.
