Fun Facts

My passion is reading books. I love reading anything from the Harry Potter series to the Hunger Games Trilogy. Any book that I come into contact with, I will read. I also enjoy baking. For relaxation, I love to go out into my garden and see how my plants are growing.

About Me

I love teaching children of all ages. I am going to school to become an elementary teacher so that I will make a difference in children's lives. I have learned about the different learning styles that children learn by and I incorporate those styles when I teach any child.
I have tutored for Fresno Unified School district where I tutored five students. I either tutored math or English for each student. My students where in 9th grade, 7th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade. I prepared them for the California State Tests that each took at the end of the year. I saw each student improve in the academic work and in the study skills.
When I fresno">tutor, I want to make the process fun for the student and for me. I want each student to enjoy learning and see the benefit's from studying and trying his/her best on school work. While fresno">tutoring, I try to let each student know how each lesson will help him/her in life and how he/she will use the new skill. I always have each student write down one or two sentences about what he/she learned during the lesson.
