I am an ambitious, giving, and organized individual. I have been playing tennis all throughout my high school and college careers. I enjoy theater and musical performances. During the fall, you can find me in the Lincoln Center, catching up on latest ballet and opera performances. Turandot, Madame Butterfly, and Carmen are my old time favorites!

About Me

I have a degree in psychology and a minor in chemistry. In addition, I am currently working in the inorganic chemistry laboratory and doing research on my own project. Participating in various conferences and symposiums has strengthened my communication and public speaking skills. I am planning to attend medical school and complete a Ph.D. in chemistry. In addition, I am a certified emergency medical technician.

I have tutored a number of students in chemistry as well as biology. Taking upper level chemistry and biology courses made me an expert in different areas of science. The students that I worked with have shown to improve study skills and as a result improve their grades.

Communication between a brooklyn">tutor and a student is a key to success. I adjust my study sessions based on every student's needs. I believe understanding and critical thinking is the key to long term improvement and success. Therefore, I never suggest my students memorize the material but rather encourage them to understand it. I prepare short quizzes as well as homework, which gives my students an opportunity to review the material between our sessions and keep the material fresh in their head. By building friendly relationships with students, I provide support and encouragement on my part. Everyone can reach their goals provided good resources and help is available.
