Fun Facts

I love travelling to different countries and have spent a fair amount of time in a variety of places, visiting every continent except Antarctica. I hope to be able to travel in the future as a career.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. I am attending the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine this Fall, with my end career goal serving as a physician.

Experience

In college, I began houston">tutoring my friends in the classes I was in and found that I had great interest and aptitude in helping my peers succeed. I continued in that capacity as a member of an on-campus student organization that held weekly peer-learning sessions. I tutored chemistry with a great focus on organic chemistry. Later on, I did private houston">tutoring for physics and chemistry.

Approach

I believe that at its core, learning is much like a ladder. There are no magic jumps in understanding or education, but rather steps. The size of those steps is determined by the teacher and as a houston">tutor, my goal is to ensure that no step is too large and that all problems, no matter how large or complex, can be solved through step-by-step reasoning. Therefore, in my sessions, one of my main goals is not simply to teach the material, but to impart a manner of analyzing problems.
