Fun Facts

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I have been playing piano for as long as I can remember and had the chance to perform in concerts at Emory in many piano ensembles. In my free time I also enjoy producing electronic music and collaborating with friends to make new tracks.

About Me

I graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Applied Physics and finished my studies at Emory in three years with a 3.7 GPA, along with a membership in the Sigma Pi Sigma National Physics Honor Society. I am now working as a medical scribe with ScribeAmerica and am currently in the process of applying to medical schools.

Experience

In high school I spent a lot of time after school tutoring elementary school aged children for three years in any subjects they needed help with. I additionally tutored students in Math and Science at my high school as part of the National Honor Society. With the refinement of my skills both inside school and outside school, through my extensive involvement in research, I am excited to pick up where I left off and bring the knowledge I learned back to the students that need it.

Approach

As a student, I always found that the easiest way to learn new topics was to understand the basic principles of something, and then see how they are applied through in-class examples. As a tutor then, I do my best to make sure other students understand the concepts they is studying before going over the problems in which such a concept is applied. I find that the most helpful method to solving a problem is covering every relevant step leading up to a solution and making sure every step is clear.
