History Tutoring

I have gainful insights of all the subjects aforementioned. At the same time, even though my major is in History, and I have taught Social Science in Middle school and Latin America & Caribbean history in college, I have also taught Adult Basic Education classes in Reading, English, Writing and Economics.

English Tutoring

Besides taking college credit prerequisite courses in English, ENC 1101 & 1102, where I have maintained a 3.5 average, I have taken English in Caribbean Examination and have received a Range 1 (A). I have also composed a Grammar Learning Manual for the College Prep department that I am currently employed.

Macro Economics Tutoring

In the British Caribbean, I have sat the exam, Principles of Business were I received a range 2, level ( B) and in addition to that, as a prerequisite for a History major, I have taken Micro & Marco Economics. Above all, my interest develops in Economics having taken several courses in International Relations and been a Social Studies instructor.

Micro-Economics Tutoring

In the British Caribbean, I have sat the exam, Principles of Business were I received a range 2, level ( B) and in addition to that, as a prerequisite for a History major, I have taken Micro & Marco Economics. Writing Tutoring

All my graduate and undergrad courses entails writing. And as part of some of the courses taken, peer reviews were required. This help me to become even more proficient in proof reading and in recognizing all cliches and jargons in poor writing. I also teaches Adult Basic Education in Reading and Language. In several disciplines, I consider myself as a, “A Jack of all trade and a master of many.”

Math Tutoring

I am proficient in, algebra , arithmetic, word problems, fractions , statistic and geometry. I took Math courses in college with a 3.5, and I also taught and tutored Math at middle and high school level.

Social Studies Tutoring

Social Studies without a doubt is my potent area of expertise. It is a way of life, my life. My major in college was Social Studies under the College of Education, then I ultimately switched to History under the College of Arts &Science. I taught middle school and GED SS.

FCAT Tutoring

In the past, I have had several positions in the public school system and I am quite familiar with the curriculum. Also, most of the students that I have tutored were candidates of the FCAT and their passing scores were a reflection of my knowledge and assistance.

Economics Tutoring

In the British Caribbean, I have sat the exam, Principles of Business were I received a range 2, level ( B) and in addition to that, as an avid History major, I have taken Micro & Marco Economics. Above all, my interest develops in Economics having taken several courses in International Relations and been a Social Studies instructor.

Geography Tutoring

On becoming a Social Studies teacher, I have taken several courses (mainly in International Relations) that covers Geography. Besides, Geography is a sub-discipline that is taught in Social Studies. I have acute knowledge of this subject as I am currently instructing it .

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I’ve vast experiences in tutoring Reading. I also taught basic adult Reading classes where the skills of Reading Comprehension were targeted. The end results were reflected in students’ scores and passing grades.

Study Skills Tutoring

Study Skills came from my own experineces in college, having to take potent notes while the instructor lecturs. It also develops after being heavy loaded with numerous course work; I learned to manange ,organize and ,treat them separately, and begin assignment ahead of due dates. No procrastining!
